Acer Laptop?

I have an Acer Aspire 3680 Laptop. I honourable recently deleted all partitions and installed windows XP. The device manager is showing the driver for "Modem Machinery on High Definition Audio Bus" and "Network Connector" is not installed properly. I downloaded every driver that Acer has to proffer, and neither one of them seems to fix this device. Any suggestions? Thanks
I must use windows XP, since just starting up vista takes awhile. If I request a restor CD from Acer, I will have Vista again, since that is the master OS.

Demand the restore CD from Acer.

How to update an Acer laptop with drivers and utilities?

Some all-inclusive update software shows that a lot of Acer drivers/utilities on my Acer Notebook is out of date, though they do not give a download location.

So, what is the best way to keep the Acer laptop up to age with Acer-stuff?

How can I prevent my Acer laptop from overheating and turning itself off?

I own an Acer Aspire 7720, which I've had no problems with until now. The laptop will be on for a few hours and then it'll reverse off and I won't be able to turn it back on for at least an hour or two after. If this is due to overheating, how can I prevent this from happening?

Laptops necessity to dissipate heat by at least some airflow underneath, so typically, you can't actually have them on your laps for a long time. Don't put it on carpet, on a bed or pillow or other such element. Put it on a hard surface -- a table, a lapdesk, a large book -- anything so that it's legs are keeping it a little off the skin and letting air get underneath. Also make sure that any vents you see on the case are not blocked by dust, your hands, or anything else.

How to clear everything off of my Acer laptop and completley start over?

I have a dim Acer laptop,
and it's been running very slow latley.
I removed almost all of the programs that I had downloaded,
and it's still being slow.

I want to reboot the absolute thing and start off brand new.
I tried reading the manuel and I don't see anything in it about rebooting the system.

How do I do this?

if you have a windows cd boot from it. to do this cool one's heels till the first boot screen and in the top corner or bottom corner it will have boot menu or boot options with a key next to it. press that key then at the next scree you should have the selection to boot from cd. if you dont have the cd you may have a recovery partition on your drive that you can boot from using the same steps use that to reinstall windows

How do I video conference on my Acer laptop?

I just now noticed that my Acer Aspire 5315-2153 has video conference on it. I looked at this sticker on the lower right part of my keyboard part of my laptop that says "Acer Video Forum*" on it. What steps on my laptop do I have to do?

You may also not in point of fact have video conference. At the bottom of the sticker it may have a start with "specification vary depending on model" and if you have that start next to video meeting, you may not have. However like the person said above, you may have to pay for it.
